If the installation of my own smoke detectors, the policy hurt my apartment?
I bought a new wireless smoke detector, because my landlord, and leaves us not install a new one. I take things into my own hands and bought a new, but the installation on the wall or ceiling for a policy? In general, I am referring to the abrasions on the walls, which are very mild.
Your landlord is the only one who can tell you if it is against their policy or not. It can be against the law but, depending on what state you're in Oregon, on, for example, we have a law that if you mess with smoke alarms in any Way to a $ 250 fine may be levied. Our tenants are not even allowed the batteries. The landlord does not correct the smoke detector is in the law most states. If you really want to make an issue out of this could be to report them.
