Is there an alarm application on the iPhone, that can automatically on the phone and set the alarm?

I have an iPhone 3G and was previously using a Nokia N76. I have found that there seems no way I can turn off the iPhone and let it start up itself and set an alarm I have to be adjusted. The Nokia I was able to previously auto-off and the Alarm. Is there an application that the iPhone 3G can? In any case, it is jailbroken.
